About Prim. Dr. Lutz Hodecker
Prim. Dr. Lutz Hodecker is the Medical Director of the Eltz Institut. He received the DocFinder Patients' Choice Award 2025 as one of the most popular orthodontists in Austria.
In his day-to-day work he covers the full spectrum of orthodontics, and he is also involved in research as an external scientific associate at Heidelberg University Hospital. Dr. Hodecker develops innovative CAD-CAM orthodontic appliances such as the Mira appliance.
Dr. Hodecker completed his dental degree at the University of Cologne, where he also earned his doctorate in the field of orthodontics. He completed his specialist training in orthodontics at Heidelberg University Hospital under Univ.-Prof. Dr. C.J. Lux. Shortly afterwards, Dr. Hodecker was appointed senior physician at this renowned hospital, where he was able to deepen his expertise, particularly in complex treatments. Dr. Hodecker has also demonstrated his passion for orthodontics in numerous international publications and lectures.
