About Dr. Simon Spönlein
Dr. Simon Spönlein has been part of the team of doctors at the Eltz Institut since July 2024. In his day-to-day work he deals not only with conventional fixed and removable orthodontics, but also with so-called invisible aligner therapy.
Dr. Spönlein completed his dental degree at Danube Private University in Krems an der Donau, where he also received his doctorate (Dr. med. dent.).
He completed his orthodontic training in Hagen (Germany) and at Regensburg University Hospital (Germany). At this renowned university hospital he learned a great deal about state-of-the-art treatment techniques, complex orthodontic case planning and high-quality patient care.
In 2022 he was recognised as a “specialist orthodontist” by the North Rhine Dental Chamber (Zahnärztekammer Nordrhein, Germany).
He then worked as an orthodontist at various practices in Germany.
