In Austria, the guide prices for braces are set in the fee guidelines of the Austrian Dental Chamber (Österreichische Zahnärztekammer) and published once a year. Most reputable dentists and orthodontists follow them, which ensures a high standard of quality in Austria.
At Invisible Braces Vienna we go one step further and, within these guidelines, try to get as much as possible out of them for you and your treatment. For every malocclusion — from simple to complex — we have the right package with a binding fixed price. You can check the prices in the fee guidelines of the Austrian Dental Chamber for orthodontic treatment yourself at any time.

Braces are precision medicine. The costs include the initial diagnosis, 3D scan, X-rays, custom-made aligners or brackets, all check-ups, refinements, retainers and care from specialised orthodontists. In return, the results last a lifetime.
Each package has a binding fixed price: Eltz Lite €5,480, Eltz 365 €6,180, Eltz Standard €6,980 and Eltz Advanced €7,780. Which package suits you depends on the type and severity of your malocclusion – we determine this at your free consultation.
No. No matter how long the treatment takes, or how many aligners, brackets or archwires you end up actually needing: the price fixed at the start will not be increased afterwards.
Our orthodontists take time for you and explain exactly which malocclusion(s) you have and which treatment options are available. Your personal treatment coordinator accompanies you through the appointment. You’ll receive a detailed cost plan from us with the right package (Lite, 365, Standard or Advanced) and can start treatment straight away if you wish – or think everything over calmly at home.
Yes. At the start, the material costs are paid as a deposit – €1,500 for aligners, €540 for brackets. You split the rest into up to 36 interest-free monthly instalments from €111. If you pay everything at the start, we take 4% off the treatment costs.
Yes. Should it become clear during treatment that a more comprehensive package is a better fit, we’ll fairly credit the difference – without you losing anything you’ve already paid.
ÖGK, SVS and KFA currently reimburse adult policyholders €724.50 per treatment year. People insured with BVAEB receive a one-off subsidy of €3,500. We’ll gladly help you submit your claim.
Yes. In your annual tax assessment (Lohnsteuerausgleich), all payments made for your braces in the previous year can be claimed as “extraordinary expenses” (außergewöhnliche Belastungen). Depending on your income, you’ll get part of the costs back this way.

IOTN: How severe is your malocclusion?
IOTN stands for Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need and is a scale used to classify the need for orthodontic treatment. The scale has 5 grades, with IOTN 1 indicating a low need for treatment and IOTN 5 a high need for treatment. Your IOTN grade determines possible options for a health insurance subsidy as well as the duration and cost of your orthodontic treatment.
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to assess yourself, because there are, for example, malocclusions that look mild but require considerable effort to correct – and, conversely, malocclusions that look complex but can be treated very easily. We ask you to book a free consultation with us, where we’ll determine the grade of your malocclusion without obligation and draw up a cost plan!

We get the maximum out of it for you!
Our institute is recognised by the Austrian health insurance funds as a qualified orthodontic practice, so with our braces you may be able to get part of your treatment costs reimbursed by your health insurance. However, every health insurance fund and private health insurer has its own rates and pays different subsidies for different treatment methods – so it’s a good idea to come for a free consultation with us, because we know exactly how you can get the maximum back and perhaps even save on taxes too!
