At your personal consultation, the doctor will explain everything about braces and answer all your questions. After a short examination, you’ll find out straight away whether invisible braces or another form of orthodontic treatment is ideal for you. You’ll receive a treatment and cost plan. Your doctor will also give you an overview of possible financing options.
In principle, treatment with invisible aligners is possible for everyone. For some malocclusions, however, a different treatment method could be more effective.
The costs depend on the malocclusion. We also offer you an individual financing plan. From an instant discount to payment in instalments, there’s something for everyone. We’ll also help you get money back from your insurance.
Treatment with aligners involves a series of invisible aligners that correct the malocclusion quickly and effectively. The aligners are comfortable to wear and fit easily into everyday life.
The treatment time depends on the malocclusion, but is usually between 12 and 18 months. You’ll find out the exact duration before treatment even starts.
You can continue to play musical instruments, including wind instruments. At most, you might have to adapt your technique slightly. You can also sing with the aligners without any problems.
In principle, you can do any kind of sport. With sports involving a lot of physical contact, such as hockey, rugby, boxing or football, you should be careful, though.
For these sports you should wear a special mouthguard that protects your teeth.
Unlike patients with fixed braces, patients with invisible aligners don’t have to worry about this.
Simply take the aligners out before eating and you can eat anything without any problems. Afterwards, brush your teeth thoroughly and you can put the aligners back in. So nothing stands in the way of your normal eating habits.
