About Dr. Valerie Pontius
Dr. Pontius has been part of the team of doctors at the Eltz Institut since spring 2025.
Alongside conventional fixed braces, Dr. Valérie Pontius focuses on treatment with invisible aligners.

Dr. Pontius studied dentistry at the Philipps University of Marburg. In 2012 she completed her doctorate in dentistry with the dissertation topic: “Retrospective evaluation of perforation repairs – a multicentre study.”
She completed her specialist training in orthodontics at Hannover Medical School. At these renowned clinics, Dr. Pontius learned a great deal about state-of-the-art treatment techniques, complex orthodontic case planning and high-quality patient care. Her extensive knowledge has been rounded off by training and certifications in Angel Aligner, Incognito, WIN etc.
Dr. Pontius completed her three-year postgraduate training in orthodontics at Hannover Medical School under the Europe-wide training programme “NEBEOP” (Network of Erasmus Based European Orthodontic Program). She then worked at various orthodontic clinics in Germany. From 2017 to 2024 she even ran her own practice in Bad Homburg.
